Adobe Lightroom 6 El Capitan

Adobe released Lightroom CC 2015.3 / 6.3 with support for the new Zeiss Milvus line for Nikon F-mount and few other lenses:
- Oct 02, 2015 Mac OS 10.11 El Capitan’s now been out for a day or so, and you may be wondering whether it’s safe to upgrade. As far as Lightroom goes, there are a couple of issues under investigation so far. The big one – Nikon and Leica tethering is not working. Update 2016-01-27 – Nikon tethering is fixed in Lightroom 2015.4 / 6.4.
- Adobe Lightroom is available as part of Adobe Creative Cloud for as little as $9.99/month bundled with Photoshop CC as part of the photography package. Lightroom 6 is also available for purchase as a stand-alone app (with the cloud functionality removed) if you prefer.
- However, I was unhappy about how long Adobe took to fix glaring issues in their previous Lightroom 5, and now Adobe's new policies for Lightroom 6 are another thorn in my side. Specifically, the policy that standalone versions of Lightroom 6 will get no feature updates is just a poor way to treat new and long-time Lightroom customers.

The new version fixes also several bugs, including the instability, functionality and performance issues introduced in Lightroom CC 2015.2.x/6.2.x.

Adobe and Apple have worked closely together to test Adobe Creative Cloud applications for reliability, performance, and user experience when installed on Intel-based systems running Mac OS X El Capitan (version 10.11). The latest versions of all Creative Cloud products are compatible.

Adobe Lightroom 6 El Capitan Software
Yes. If a full version of a product is compatible with OS X El Capitan, then the trial version of that product is compatible as well. Any known issues described in this document also apply to the trial versions.
